Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision

Resources in this special collection promote a proven HIV-prevention intervention. A growing number of communication tools and materials are available for policy makers, program  implementers, communication specialists, and those involved in designing and executing programmes that offer male circumcision as an HIV risk-reduction strategy for heterosexual men.

Some of the resources in this Special Collection were collected at the 2010 UNAIDS–PEPFAR Male Circumcision Communication Meeting in South Africa by USAID's AIDSTAR-One project. Others were developed by the USAID-funded C-Change project. Organizations working in VMMC are encouraged to view, download, contribute and share communication materials, as well as the strategies, research, testing and evaluation documents related to those materials.
