Jul 2006 Producer/Author: PATH, Population Council

Summary

In 2006, PATH and Population Council developed this curriculum to build youths’ knowledge, understanding, and skills about reproductive health, adolescence, sexuality, relationships, sexually transmitted infections/HIV, and other topics as part of the Kenya Adolescent Reproductive Health Project (KARHP) Tuko Pamoja (We Are Together) series. The curriculum is designed for 10- to 14- year-olds and 15- to 19-year-olds and suggests specific modules for each group; session 19 is specifically about abstinence. It is intended to be used by peer educators facilitating discussion groups with in- and out-of-school youth.
