Research & Testing

C-Change worked with SFCG on a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) strategy and message development. Messages for the four HIV episodes were developed in coordination with C-Change. Episode 363, “HIV/AIDS is a worldwide issue,” emphasized that while there is no vaccine to prevent HIV, there are successful treatments. Episode 364, "Treating HIV,” contained the message that having HIV is not a death sentence; leading a balanced lifestyle and complying with doctors’ instructions can delay and prevent the onset of AIDS. Episode 365 on “Symptoms of HIV” stressed that one can be HIV positive, even if there are no apparent signs. Episode 366, “Living with HIV,” noted that the virus is not transmitted through normal daily activity.
